Sree Pulikkal Vishwanagayakshi Temple is abode to Nagaraja Swamy and
his 2 consorts Vishwanagayakshi Amma and Sarpayakshi Amma. They are

worship. Vishwanagayakshi Amma is eminent here as she in a self-
manifested (Swayambhu) embodiment in the Sanctum which continues to
be worshipped till date. Another unique feature of the temple is the
Pratishtha (idol) of Vishwanagayakshi Amma which has been made
according to Vashista Rishi Samhitha with Ashta Bahus (Eight Hands) and
Bhutasana (Amma seated on Bhutas). Therefore, those who pray to
